Today is the first day of the rest of your life!

Well, actually May 31 will be that day - the day Sada retires!! It's very exciting & a little scary, but we're ready - ready to ditch the rat-race (such as it is here in the sub-Arctic), ready to do something different, but mostly (for me) ready to get outahere in the winter. 

As much as we love Fairbanks & Alaska, I am so frakkin' sick of snow, I just can't tell you. Lately, my motto has been 'Any day without snow on the ground is a good day'. Summers in Fairbanks, celebrating the Midnight Sun, winters as snow-birds, traveling & looking around out there in the world - that's what life looks like for us starting now.  I am looking forward to many snow-free days!
